So, another week begins! I’ve spent most of the day fighting with my laptop! I installed the latest required Windows update and then started getting nasty messages about a system file being corrupted. The long and short of it is that I had to use the XP install CD to boot from the CD so that I could “repair” the system using the check disk command. I couldn’t run the command from within Windows ’cause the drive couldn’t be locked courtesy of all of the auto-run processes Microsoft includes for me. ARGH!!!!!
Now, for my requisite advertising Lexi still has her Commercial Use Grab Bag for $8.00 (a $40 value) and Kim has her new Zip Me Up set on sale through tomorrow (Monday) – better get them while you can! Plus, there’s an Inspiration chat tomorrow night at 9 EDT 6 PDT in the DSO chatroom. You’ll get a cool template to play with and if you complete a layout and post it in the Gallery within 24 hours, you’ll get a cool posting bonus from Lynn.
As promised, here’s the complimentary layout of my niece, Eleora. She’s Monte’s twin and “older” sister by 1 whole minute! I used Lynn’s Baby O Baby Papers and Baby Bow Alpha and a template from Simply Sarah. Fonts are CK Wistful and Century Gothic.
A New Week…
Wednesday Already?!?!?
It’s Sunday!

I was able to scrap a little this weekend! I created this layout for the August Lyrics Challenge at DSO. The photos are special to me because they represent a couple of milestone occasions: 1. Nadya’s first “official” photos at 3 months and 2. Our first “official” family portraits. The photographer is a good friend of mine, Aaron Jackson, who does phenomenal work! He came out to the house so Nadya would be “in her element” so to speak. Aaron is The Korky on FLICKR – you should check out his photos!!! For this layout I used Sondra’s new Pressed Flowers kit – which should be available soon and her Swirly Template. I really love the colors and textures she’s used! The folded corner template is courtesy of Paula Yagisawa. Hope everyone has a fabulous Sunday and a great week!
