A New Week

Wow – Sunday is almost over which means my weekend has come and is almost gone! We’ve been busy – we went in search of “The Great Pumpkin” yesterday – Nadya’s first pumpkin to be exact. Her daddy is going to carve it next weekend so she’ll have a Jack-O-Lantern for her first Halloween. It’s a tradition that started with his aunt, so he’s really excited to continue it with Nadya. I took tons of pictures and complete a LO using the QP freebie I made with Lynn’s Pumpkins kit. The links for the freebie are still active; you just have to dig in the blog to find them. J

There’s also tons of stuff going on in the small portion of the digi-scrapping world that I’m aware of. Let’s see, one of my favorite designers (and a true sweetie), Heather Manning, has started her very own store – check it out here. We’ll miss her at DSO but wish her the very best of luck! She’s hosting a chat on October 24^th at DST – 6pm Pacific, 9 pm Eastern. She’s giving away a great set of QPs using her Dirt Don’t Hurt kits, so you definitely don’t want to miss out!

Then, there’s the bi-monthly Scrap-N-Chat at DSO this Monday at 9 pm Eastern. Lynn and Darlene always have a great template to give away and then a super posting bonus for those that complete a LO and post it in the chat gallery within 24 hours. Here’s a peek at the posting bonus:

While were chatting about Lynn, she’s released a FABULOUS new kit called Butterfly Flowers and she’s having a 30% off sale in her store. This kit is just stunning – I can’t wait to start playing with it!!!

Bunny’s birthday sale ends today and her new commercial use grab-bag is now available. If you missed the last one she and Kim did – you should grab this one while you can. The Professional Starts Basics Booster Pack is AWESOME – I use it all the time and it was only 1 piece of the last grab bag! Kristine’s new kit, Salsa, has hit the store too! And, her Funkerella kit (the one that coordinates with so many of her recent blog goodies) is also in the store. Have I convinced you to go shopping yet?!?!?

Wow – this is turning into a longer post than I expected. I’ll try to be back tomorrow with a preview of my new freebie for the DSO color challenge. Mondays are always busy ’cause we go grocery shopping and run errands. Plus, Nadya HATES Walmart, which always makes for a fun day! J

It’s Bunny’s Birthday!!!

It’s Bunny’s Birthday – woohoo! Happy Birthday lady! Run over to her blog and leave her some wishes and then head over to her store at DSO where she’s having a super birthday sale until Sunday. How great is that – it’s her birthday but we’re getting the loot! J
