Wow – we’ve been busy here! My poor little one managed to get a Diaper Rash turned Yeast Infection that would NOT go away! I think we’re on the home stretch now though (keeping fingers crossed). Poor baby – it broke my heart every time I had to change her diaper! She goes back to the pediatrician for a check-up this Thursday and for a blood test to make sure she’s not anemic (I don’t think she is, but the doctor is insisting we check). Since Thursday is Valentine’s Day, my dear husband suggested I pick-up a Papa Murphey’s bake at-home pizza…a true romantic! LOL!! Then on Friday Nadya and I are headed to Texas with my mom to visit my Grandparents. We’ve planned 2 visits so far and both had to be canceled because someone was sick. Now, the weather is threatening to snow on us – Grrrrr!!!!
I have managed to scrap a few more pages in the brag book – I need to finish up by Thursday morning so I can pick up the prints after the pediatrician’s visit. I had a great time working with Julie’s LipGloss by Wenchd Grafix and Bunny Cate’s Brag Book Template set. Julie’s LipGloss has great papers and elements to work with and Bunny’s templates made everything so easy…so, make sure you head to DSO to check out the template set and to the new Wenchd Grafix store for Julie’s LipGloss (which just happens to be on sale this week)! While we’re on the subject of sales, Bunny has released a new commercial use bundle – 5 new Commercial Use products for only $8 – but better hurry this price is only good through Saturday.
So, do you wanna see what I’ve been working on? Do ya???!!! Well, here are a couple of the Brag Book pages:
This one uses Wenchd Grafix Calypso and another of Bunny’s templates (included in the set). It’s the "first" in the series using the Calypso kit.
This one is one of my favorites! I used Wenchd Grafix Julie’s LipGloss and another of the templates in Bunny’s set. My baby loves the mouse I use with my laptop and will grab it every chance she gets (note it is NOT plugged in).
I also finished one of the challenges for this month at DSO. For the first time, I created a desktop background. I used Lynn’s Cranberry Crush and Bundled Stack sets and a frame from Kim Broedelet’s recently revealed grab bag. Here’s what I came up with.
I guess that’s about all from me – check back tomorrow for some more excitement and news (ie there might be a goodie for you)…
Have a fabulous night!
