Can I just say I HATE WIND!  It’s been really windy here lately, but today is by far the worst!  There’s so much dust and stuff in the air I can’t see across my yard!  Yasha’s weather station (yup we have a little one here) says the peak gust so far has been 41.7 mph with sustained winds of 26 mph.  Remember that birthday party we’re supposed to go to this afternoon – they’re having it OUTSIDE!  I foresee a VERY short stay in our future.  It’s miserable out there!

Ok, enough ranting about the weather – as promised, I’m finally taking care of the tags that Bunny and Lynn so graciously sent my way! Here are the general rules:

•Go to your photo folder in your computer
•Go to the 6th folder of photos
•Go to the sixth picture
•Put the picture on your blog and a description of it

So, since I was tagged twice and I have 2 picture folders – 1 dedicated Nadya’s pictures and the other to everything else, I’ll select one from each. 

From my DD folder:

We had just returned from tumbling (Dec 2008) and Nadya was actively trying to lift and carry one of her fabric toy cubes – a favorite activity of hers.

From my Other folder:

This one is Surveyor – one of the Lunar exploration vehicles for the Apollo program.  I took this photo at the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum during a business trip to DC in October 2006.  Incidentally, it was my last business trip as I had Nadya the following May and didn’t return to work.

It’s been a busy week and I’m glad it’s Friday! I’m looking forward to some downtime and relaxing with my hubby and daughter.  We have a birthday party tomorrow for a neighbor’s son, but that’s the extent of the “plans”.  I’m hoping to break-out my paper and ink – I have some card ideas running through my head! I’m going to blame Bunny for lighting the creative stamping fire – again.
