While browsing the ‘net I happened upon a quote by Albert Camus: “Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.” and I loved it! Seriously – with the changing of the season the bright green foliage transitions through a cascade of reds, yellow, and oranges before “falling” away completely… So, I HAD to create an Autumn themed card, and since it’s time for another Lindsay’s Stamp Stuff creation and Lindsay has a couple of fabulous Fall sets (and a super 2-day ONLY 40% off sale – extended through Friday)– well you know where this is going…
I started with Lindsay’s Sketchy Leaves digital stamp set and a couple of digi-papers from Kim Broedelet’s Shabby Twang kit in my trusty Photoshop – after playing with layer/blend styles and fonts my Autumn card began taking shape. I printed out the layers, added a few embellishments, some sparkle (I traced the leaves with Spica markers) and shine (then coated the leaves with Glossy Accents), and adhered it all together – viola my work of heART completed. Even my DH liked this one (he doesn’t “dislike” any of my creations – but a “That’s really nice” is always appreciated).
