Good Morning! I can’t believe Valentine’s Day is only a week away! Since today is the 7th, we have another Tiffany Doodles challenge for you…this one is a Valentine theme. We have made a few minor changes to our challenge – it will continue to start on the 7th, but will last only 2 weeks and, though we welcome images from any designer on our creations, if you use a Tiffany Doodles image, the grand prize is a $10 gift certificate. The runner up is $5. I do hope you’ll join us – just create a NEW Valentine-themed project and link it here.
For my project, I used an image from Tiffany’s Hand Drawn Hearts digital stamp set.
I love the buttons in this image and chose to pair them with awesome DP from the My Mind’s Eye Love Nest (by Carina Garner) paper pack that I found at Hobby Lobby. I LOVE the colors and textures on this paper! The buttons are painted with my Twinkling H2O paints and “stitched” with white embroidery floss. I used a piercer to make the button holes before “sewing”. The accent mats are from DCWV glitter stacks – cut with EK Success Edge Punches and/or Nestabilities. My card base is textured CS from Bazzill’s Pink collection – it’s a fabulous burgundy color that matched the DP perfectly.

Tiffany’s new store is up and running – no more blog store, which makes for a much simpler shopping experience for you! She still offers weekly freebies and $1 specials, so what are you waiting for – come create with us! Be sure to stop by the Tiffany Doodles Blog to see what the other DT members have for you and to show us your challenge creation!
That’s all from me. We have a busy day in the Desert – pre-school followed by grocery shopping and the car wash and ending with a follow-up dr. appointment for my little one. Busy busy! Have a fabulous week!
